The Month of April
The month of April begins with remarkable aspects! First, Neptune has just entered Aries on March 30th for the first time in 165 years and will remain there for 13 years. This period may be marked by initiatives that seek an ideology, and the dissolution of firm structures.
The First Week of April
The First Quarter Moon occurs at 15º of Cancer on Thursday the 3rd of April, and later Mars will form a trine aspect to Saturn at 24º Cancer and Pisces respectively.
Both Mars and Saturn are in sextile with Uranus — so Uranus is located at the Mars-Saturn midpoint. This looks like hard work and an intense effort involving the application of new and innovative methods. This energy can be very forceful and even explosive.
On April 6th, Venus and Mars form a trine aspect, so effectively during this time Mars is forming a trine to the longer term Venus-Saturn conjunction. There is passion and creative vitality, but it’s disciplined, restricted and restrained. Mercury turns direct at 26º Pisces on Monday, 7th, within a whisper of this Venus-Saturn conjunction. Difficult things need to be said in love and friendship, or a change occurs in the pattern of communication between lovers and friends.
The Second Week of April
This week starts with a Full Moon at 23º Libra on Sunday the 13th of April. The Sun-Moon opposition is forming a quincunx aspect to a stationary Venus, and so the prevailing theme of strains and adjustments to relationships is reinforced.
During this week Mars forms a trine to the Mercury-Neptune conjunction. Such a combination might favor very imaginative artistic expression, but it may also describe a cunningly persuasive argument, perhaps involving a measure of trickery
or illusion.
The Third Week of April

The week begins with Mercury forming a sextile to Pluto on Sunday. There’s deep analysis and research, and penetrating and insightful discussions can occur. There’s a t-square forming this week involving the Sun, Mars and Pluto. The Sun will be in square aspect to Mars on Monday, then in square to Pluto on Wednesday, and then on Sunday Mars and Pluto arrive at their final exact opposition. The outcome could be dramatic and explosive. There’s an uncompromising self-assertion. In the most ideal scenario it might produce feats of extraordinary courage and determination.
After weeks of austere entanglement, Venus forms her final conjunction with Saturn on Friday and gets to move on after a protracted period of distance between lovers and friends and critical changes in personal relationships.
The Fourth Week of April
The New Moon that occurs on Monday will be square both ends of the Mars Pluto opposition, bringing it into sharper focus. The latter part of April 2025 is one of the flash points of this year, when simmering tensions and antagonisms can flare

Venus enters Aries on Wednesday the 30th and forms a conjunction to Neptune on Friday. Love and beauty is intoxicating but it can also be beguiling and confusing. Love is selfless and sacrificial. Art and beauty are mesmerizing.
